The upshot is that I ran 16.2 km for a time of 1:22:56 which resulted in a pace of 5:07 /km. The return leg was only slightly slower than the outboud leg. My heart rate maxed out at 207 bpm just as I was turning into my street (100 metres to go), I know this as the heart rate max alarm went off. I’m not sure if this is an accurate figure or not as upon casual monitoring throughout the run I only noticed heart rates in the high 150’s. The average worked out at 146 bpm.
All in all I ran this quite comfortably and yet afterwards my legs were (are) a little tight, a nice tightness all the same (a sign of doing something).Further details of this run can be found here at Motionbased.

I don't know about the 207 bpm being accurate. It sounds very high.
Sounds like good pace for such a comfortable run. Good to see you're using the river path. Haven't been down there for ages myself, unfortunatley.
Good mileage to begin the week with. Keep this type of training up and you will catch Tesso's yearly total in no time ;)
I agree with spark driver, it was probably just a bad signal.
Shane is right, you'll be way past my yearly total before you know it especially the way I'm going (or not going) at the moment.
