Well, so much for a run.
I had it all planned out today. Headed off for work, my bag packed with all intentions of running a good hard fartlek session straight after work starting at Fawkner Park.
Bloody work. It was one of those days, relying on others to work on a task before I could complete it. The task itself was relatively simple, so I thought, and yet they dilly dallied until about 2 pm when I took over. At this point I knew my run was a no-goer and internally had a crap attitude all afternoon. I was peeved with a captial 'P'.
The task was one of those tasks that had to be completed today so I couldn't put it on the back-burner. If I could have I certainly would have and my run would have remained the priority.
I finished work at 7 pm and at this point I wasn't in the right frame of mind for a run. I just wanted to get home.
There's always tomorrow.

I hate tasks like that. I hope you get a run in today.
I totally understand...I hate working with people like that.
Sorry to hear that you were deprived of your run. I was going to go out for one this morning, but I ran out of time because I was editing a 17 minute drum lesson video down to 4 min. Not enough time in the day for all the hobbies. Tomorrow I'll hit it for sure. I registered for the Twin Cities Marathon today. It's in October. All the best with your training for the May 28 Williamstown Marathon. In my version of Google Earth, there are several check boxes at the bottom of the application. One allows you to choose whether or not you can see the roads and their names. I assume that you have that in your version but it doesn't work in Australia yet?
Sounds like sabotage!!!
Hopefully it will just make today's run even more enjoyable.
