First run since PB on Sunday. Couldn't run yesterday due to a headache for most of the day, so in a way a forced rest day.
Just a nice easy paced run today from home to Werribee River, along the path to Shaws Rd and return.
Weather wise it was warm humid conditions so in a way really didn't want to run hard or fast.
Slight Injury
About 30 minutes into the run I felt a little niggling pain in my left foot, the top of, at my ankle (probably a body part name for that - can't think of it at the moment). What was annoying though is that I didn't mis-step or step on a crack it just happened. I slowed down somewhat and ran through it and the mild pain disappeared for the remainder of the run.
On return home I finished off with 100 normal sit-ups and 5 sets of 20 crunch/twists. That took me about 15 minutes.
During the night the pain returned to my left foot and had to walk gingerly.

New immediate goal
I've worked it out that if I continue running at this rate for the rest of the month I should clock up 2400 km for the year, which equates to an average of 200 km per month. That's my new immediate goal. This at least keeps me running.
