Tues 29-11-2005 - Gym session (abs)
Gym session whilst at work today at 3 pm for 25 mins. As per usual of recent times, well the last 2 - 3 months, I concentrated only on my abs.
Sit-ups (exercise ball - crunch twist) 1 x 30, 3 x 20.
Oblique twists (bar) 2 x 50
Side bends (7.5 kg) 2 x 50
Crunches 1 x 50
My intention during the gym session was to have a run after work.
Well, plans are made to be broken. On arriving home I decided to have a rest from running. I'm feeling a little energy sapped most likely caused from the Two Bays 28 k run on Sunday and recovery run last night. I'm wondering now, why I'm calling last nights run a recovery run.
Besides being energy sapped (buggered) my legs, quads, are still aching. I don't mind that so much as I realize that I must have exerted myself and therefore is good. I've got a slight niggling pain in my left foot. Therefore probably a good reason not to run tonight.
Next Group Run
Looking forward to my 3rd group run at Brimbank Park this coming Sunday. This time they're planning a 23 k run, extending the turn-around point to Canning St.
