Wed 23-11-2005 - Abs only - no run
Only managed a gym session today at work at 3 pm for 30 mins. Concentrated on my abs and it went something like this:-
Sit-ups (exercise ball) 1 x 200
Side-bends (7.5 kg) 3 x 50
Oblique twists (bar) 3 x 50
Sit-ups (exercise ball, crunch-twist) 3 x 20
Plus some stretching.
Plan was to go for a run after work at home. Thing was though, I was feeling tired all day and the 45 mins on the train doesn't help. Got home, sat on the couch, idiot box on and that was it, decision made, no run tonight.
As I write this about 9.45 pm I'm extremely tired, eyes heavy. I'll be in bed very soon. I've got a feeling all this training is catching up with me and just need a rest day, maybe two.
Weight this morning 77.4 kg.

Wow, that's one hell of an abs workout! No wonder the couch felt so good.
I find that sometimes the fatigue just sneaks up on me and I have to cancel a planned run.
No doubt you'll feel better after a rest day.
