Tonight’s run was a forced run, well sort of. During the afternoon I was tossing up whether to go for a run from work and run around the Yarra or do it from home. Late in the day I decided it would be a run from home job. I was feeling a little tired and in essence was putting off the run.
The train trip home (45-50 mins) doesn’t help if one has a dose of the tireds (I know, it’s not correct use of the word – but you know what I mean). The clickety clack is very hypnotic and I reckon I dosed for half the trip, thank god for the PA system announcing the upcoming stations.

Steven you’re clearly not normal. You’re a marathoner – far superior to just normal!
I have a running brother too. I never fail to spot him as he runs conspicuously bald & hatless and I’m always checking out runners when I run anyway.
Looking at your map I’d say the home we’re building is right about the 5.3k mark (in Batman Crt, close to the river). Before my knee flared up I did a couple of runs from home to there. It’ll be nice to do more runs around there when we move.
That's funny about your brother :-) Being really bad with faces I always say a big hello to passing runners as if I know them - if I don't know them it doesn't matter and if I do I haven't offended them!
Cheers for the comments Steve, thats pretty funny about your brother. You must have been tired I can spot my brothers ugly mug from a mile away. :)
