An uneventful run today, nothing really to write home about. No intent on speed or longer distance. If anything I did consider a rest day, well as you can see, I didn't. Received a phone call while running along Bindowan Ave, about the 9 km mark. Walked as I talked. I've still got my motor bike for sale and arranged to meet the caller (Eddy) at my place at 8 pm to check the bike over. HRM is still playing up. I had a thought whilst running, dangerous I know. Maybe, just maybe, I'm not wearing the strap tight enough and that is why I'm not receiving heart rate signals. I don't think that is the case, but I'll tighten the strap for my next run. Weight Milestone Checked my weight this morning at 76.2 kg. This is the lowest I've recorded since 2001. The highest recorded during this period was 86.8 kg in 2002 and 2003. I have been lighter than 76.2 prior to 2001 but I haven't logged or recorded those figures and needless to say I was younger where metabolism wasn't such a great issue. It is now. Stats as of 4 Jan 2006
Weight 76.2
Prev 7 Days 50.2
Prev 28 Days 259.1
Jan 2006 45.0
YTD 45.0
Monthly Avg 2006 45.0
Weekly Avg 2006 22.5
Total (2001 on) 7786.1
By the way, I sold my bike. Got $200 deposit, all I have to do now is get a roadworthy tomorrow and bobs your uncle.

Nice one, sold your bike and reached a weight milestone. Makes up for the frustrating HRM issue you have been dealing with.

Oh, by the way I always knew that the southern states were a bit behind the northern ones. Your title for this blog definately strengthens my suspicion :)

Happy new year & Congrats on reaching the weight milestone.

Good to see you've been keeping busy during your holidays.

I've been running regularly too, in the 5-10km range, so nothing long. If I make it to Brimbank on the 22nd I'll do a slightly shorter version to what the main group does.

Lo and behold there's a Street O event on this Tuesday 10 Dec at 7.00pm in Hoppers!

Kiah Reserve is less than 1k from my place & the Skeleton Creek path is my main running spot!

I will try to get there, but 7.00pm is not a good time for me, unfortunately.

PS: I've never done Street O.

Cheers,

Stephen

Shane - I've just noticed the title now - I should take courses in proof reading. I'll add 'Crossing' to it a bit later.

Stephen - Thanks for the link. Just spent the last 15-20 mins browsing that site. I've never done O before either, might give it a try on Tuesday.

Steve, I just noticed that myself, Ha ha, I was actually referring to the date you wrote wednesday the 3rd but it was the 4th. That's what I meant by being behind. That's funny we both missed two obvious errors, you probably thought I was a rude bastard. lol

Steve, all good to hear about the run & wieght, hopefully I might be able to convince you to have a look at the AV winter season, some great racing for all abilities.

Anyway, if you are interested, I might be out at the You Yangs on Sunday at 9am, I'll let you know.
